Trial Classes at KiPS
Q: How do I sign up for a trial class?
Email us at staff@kipsfamily.com with the age of your child, and their gymnastics background (if any!) and we will help you find the right class. Trial classes are $20
Q: What should my child wear/bring?
A: Tight Fitting clothing (no hoodies, zippers) Long hair tied back, socks and shoes off, all jewelry removed. Please bring a water bottle!
Q: Why could a trial class be right for me?
A: A trial class is the best way for your child to experience our program firsthand. It allows them to get a feel for the gym, meet our coaches, and see if gymnastics is something they enjoy before committing.
Q: What will my child do in a trial class?
A: Your child will participate in a regular class alongside other students. They’ll learn age-appropriate skills, practice on equipment, and be guided by our experienced coaches in a safe, supportive environment.
Q: What if my child is nervous or shy?
A: That’s completely normal! Our coaches are skilled at helping children feel comfortable and supported. Many kids start out shy but quickly warm up once they see how fun and engaging gymnastics can be.
Q: Is there any commitment after a trial class?
A: No commitment is required. The trial is simply a low-pressure way to explore gymnastics. If your child loves it, we’ll guide you through the enrollment process. However, we can only accommodate for one trial class per student.
Q: Does a trial class guarantee my spot in a class?
A: Taking a trial class does not guarantee a spot in a class. All registrations are first come, first served, and we can only accommodate trials in classes that have space available.
*For Beginner I and Beginner II levels, we offer trial opportunities during our Sunday 4:15–5:00pm makeup class, which follows the same curriculum as regular classes. This ensures your child can experience the program without impacting class sizes.
